Australian rooftop solar only at 5%, huge potential for growth
A new study prepared for the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) by the Institute for Sustainable Futures, the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering at UNSW and the Australian Photovoltaic Institute has shown that Australia is currently using less than 5% of the potential capacity for rooftop solar.
There is huge potential for increased solar power in residential zones, in primary and rural production zones, and in commercial and industrial zones.
