New proposed carbon tax and climate dividend
UNSW Sydney Professors Rosalind Dixon and Richard Holden have proposed the Australian Carbon Dividend Plan (ACDP) to tax carbon dioxide at $50 per metric ton (MT), with the revenue generated returned to every voting-age Australian.
This proposal is in response to strong community support via a survey.
