We have been proud sponsors of EnergyLab since they started a year ago and have enjoyed the many events they have put on. It is good to see the number of start-ups in the Accelerator Program increase. EnergyLab is providing a crucial service to our industry.

We are excited to be able to sponsor EnergyLab again this year and, without giving too much away, it looks set to be an exciting year of events.

New for this year is the Cleantech Women series. Cleantech Women is an initiative to support female entrepreneurs on their journey.  EnergyLab will be organising events and creating a community to inspire women to take the next step in becoming entrepreneurs. They will build a network of mentors to provide support and advice to female founders.

The first event will be Opportunities for female founders in the cleantech space on the 15th February at EnergyLab in Sydney.

The panel will discuss questions such as:

• How can we enourage more women to start a cleantech business?
• What does it mean to be a female founder in cleantech?
• What are the opportunities brought by energy transition?
• How does the future look for cleantech businesses?
