We are not doing enough
A great interview of Dr Sven Teske in the latest EcoGeneration. He always brings a broad view to the discussion with very useful insights and observations for all stakeholders.
He tackles some myths that persist in Australia – “baseload” (the clue is in the name), that Europe is an interconnected supergrid (only about 10%), that massive EV uptake will be a problem (actually part of the solution).
With some well thought out plans and action, we can transform to 100% renewables quickly, but the reality is, at the moment, we are on a path to 3-4oC global temperature increase. We need to do more and our politicians need to hear it from us all.
Lessons from Europe and warnings for developing nations as the world turns towards renewables
