Join the AIE Young Energy Professionals for a fun and interactive tour of a solar PV manufacturing facility in the heart of Sydney. Local Australian company 5B is a manufacturer of prefabricated containerised solar PV solutions, headquartered in Alexandria. During the tour, you will gain an insight into the process while seeing examples of a finished product.

The factory tour will be followed by a presentation and Q&A session with 5B Founder and CEO Chris McGrath. Also joining us will be April Crawford-Smith, to provide a presentation on the Pingala Solar Co-operative model, and opportunities for crowdfunding solar PV installations such as Young Henry’s brewery in Newtown.

The factory tour and presentation will be followed by kick-on drinks in a nearby location with your energy colleagues to round out the week.
