An Electrical Specialist opportunity exists for a leading, smart solar and storage solution technology business that drives sales and utilization of its products through service and trust.
The Electrical Specialist will play a key role within the engineering team to support the development of inverters and monitoring products and will be responsible for providing technical advice, troubleshooting and resolution support for our install partners and customer service team.
Responsibilities:
- Review, manage and provide technical support and advice to our install partners for our Inverter and Monitoring products (phone based or on-site)
- Talking to installation partners
- Analysis for fault finding using online tools
- On-site analysis and repair
- Provide internal technical and hardware support to our engineering staff and customer service team.
- Contribute to the product design process by proving input representing out installation partners.
- Provide technical and electrical expertise to our sales and marketing team both internally and at trade shows.
- Maintenance of our Smart Solar Hybrid Test Facility.
- Contribute to the development of training documentation and programs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician with CEC Grid Connect Design Accreditation.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of the relevant standards.
- Confident whilst engaging with people – strong rapport building skills.
- Excellent verbal communication – ability to communicate at a technical level as well as being able to simplify complex concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills, organised and methodical.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications desirable.
- Current driver’s license.
- Some travel (including overnight and interstate) may be required from time to time in this role.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
