A pioneering scale-up with a patented zero-carbon thermal solution for industrial heat is seeking a Project Manager to join forces with the Chief Operating Officer. This is a chance to make a tangible impact on the energy transition while working with smart, motivated people who care deeply about innovation and sustainability.
Their automated system integrates seamlessly with existing fossil-fuel boilers to help manufacturers decarbonise step by step. It can draw power from renewable energy, the grid, or both, converting that energy into stored heat ready to deliver carbon-free steam whenever it’s needed. Its breakthrough technology leads the field for both performance and cost-effectiveness.
With three commercial projects already in operation or under construction and a new funding round about to close, the company is poised for rapid expansion with a growing project pipeline.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for:
- The safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of projects from contract award through to commissioning and close-out.
- Direct, hands-on supervision of trades and contractors on customer sites, mostly located in regional areas.
- Planning, scheduling, and procuring for multiple projects in parallel, while leading on-site installation and commissioning activities for one project at a time.

- Being the interface to stakeholders & customers
- Safety, Quality & Governance
Requirements
- Degree or trade background in Engineering or Construction
- A project management qualification is highly regarded
- Demonstrable experience delivering industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects
- Demonstrable experience directly supervising trades on live customer sites
- Strong planner with a practical, site-focused delivery mindset
- Comfortable switching between desk-based controls and on-site leadership
- Decisive, organised, and commercially aware
- Clear communicator across trades, customers, and executives
- Confident authority to direct site activities and stop work for safety or quality non-compliance
- Flexibility and willingness to travel interstate to project sites
- Australian citizenship or permanent residence
- Immediate or short notice availability ideally
