• FPGA development (Vivado, VHDL) to meet US UL standards.

• Verify new PCB boards that have been developed in-house, verifying that all the serial and ethernet buses are working correctly.

• Integrate FPGA into the apps on the Linux operating system.

• Work across the full product life cycle from concept through to validation and field trials.

• Simulation of electronics and digital control.

• Testing (verification and validation) of requirements to demonstrate the design is fit-for-purpose.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or another relevant field.

• Full PDLC, from concept to production, of electronics products for medium to large scale manufacturing.

• Demonstrated end to end work experience in developing, testing, and deploying FPGA based systems.

• Experience designing/testing power electronics systems.

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).

• Preferably knowledge of US UL standards.

• Simulation experience (PSIM, LTSpice, Matlab).

• Experience designing/testing embedded or FPGA control systems with power electronics.

• Knowledge of system documentation (requirements, specifications).

• Ability to work safely with 230V without supervision. E.g., probing, debugging, adjusting power supplies, etc.
