Head of Sales – Solar PPA

A Head of Sales position is required by a leading power purchase agreement provider for commercial and industrial solar systems. Following a recent investment, the business is expanding, and this role will be a key player in the company’s growth and success.
Reporting to the COO and indirectly to the company’s executive team, this role will be responsible for the development and management of the sales team to assist the organisation in achieving its forecasted performance market share and growth targets. You will develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, identify, and pursue new business opportunities whilst overseeing the sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting and sales reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
- Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team through recruiting, training, and motivating.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase sales.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with product enhancements and marketing campaigns.
- Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and sales reporting.
Requirements
- Demonstrable success in sales leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Experience in implementing performance metrics & tracking systems to monitor, improve and celebrate leads, conversions, and customer retention.
- Proven track record to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, including role modelling inclusion and exceptional communication.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency.
