Senior Manager, Wind Farm Project Development
FWG49003
Victoria
This global renewable energy company, with a 6GW portfolio, operates across the renewables value chain, including development, financing, construction, and asset management of wind, solar, and storage projects. Their main strategy involves partnering with original developers, taking equity stakes and offering expertise in project development, EPC contracts, project financing, and grid connections. The majority ownership positions they take gives clear ownership that allows a simple decision-making process that is not driven by short-term objectives to generate capital gains but is guided by a long-term and integrated vision of the value chain.
In Australia, they are co-developing a number of large wind farm and BESS projects. They also have a number of greenfield wind and BESS opportunities they are looking to develop themselves. The site for a significant wind farm in Victoria is about to be secured and they now require a Senior Manager, Wind Farm Project Development to manage its development through DA, EPBC to FID. This is a unique opportunity as this project is well positioned to be able to be progressed quickly.
