A Senior Commercial Analyst (or Manager) is required by an Industrial Energy Efficiency Consulting firm.
The organisation provide an end-to-end service, providing all relevant consulting services to identify opportunities for energy and carbon reductions all the way to implementation. Currently the key focus of the work is on decarbonising industrial and agricultural operations as these areas provide the most impactful opportunities to reduce carbon emissions and deliver practical outcomes based on energy and carbon management.
The organisation takes on a very practical and solution focused approach to the work and aim to give actionable insights to clients, whom they might consider partnering with to help implement these solutions,
The Senior Commercial Analyst (or Manager) will build and run financial models, develop business cases, perform due diligence and advice on finance and deal structuring for the organisations proposed solutions and recommendations to customers. They will provide recommendations on project financing structures as well as supporting the development of carbon credit strategies and projects.
Requirements
- Degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis (eg DCF and sensitivity analysis)
- Experience in developing business cases.
- Ideally some experience in debt, equity and/or deal structuring.
- An understanding of carbon and/or energy markets and related regulation and policies.
- Strong analytical skills with a sophisticated ability to communicate results, verbally and written.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
