A Logistics Coordinator opportunity exists in a leading, global solar technology business that is driving a growth strategy as well as introducing a range of new technologies to the market.

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing order processes, transactions, and inbound and outbound third-party logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate orders with the outbound 3PL to enable customers’ orders to be processed and delivered on time.
  • Be the point of contact for 3PL and internal departments for all warehouse related matters.
  • Manage relationship with freight forwarders: operations, service levels, financial controlling, contract management.
  • Manage claims and quality issues for customer service.
  • Oversee, review, and minimize logistics cost without loss of customer service.
  • Ensure POs and order process are completed and authorized.
  • Monitor compliance of processes with customs and regulatory rules.
  • Monitor Service Level Agreements (Warehouse, Transport): ensuring all deliveries are made in-full and on-time.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business and Logistics (Supply Chain Management preferred).
  • Experience in a logistics and/or transport role, both domestically and internationally.
  • Experience in processing orders and sales support from a product-based business.
  • Computer savvy with strong quantitative analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyse, draw conclusions, and execute appropriate actions in response to data.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high level of empathy and ability to listen.
  • Ability to work across functional areas and levels of the organisation and to interact at distance.
  • Client-centric (commercial mindset).
  • Strong verbal and written communication: ability to simplify, synthesize, and convince.
  • Rigorous, meticulous, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Motivated and autonomous self-starter.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible to accept new ideas, people, and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Permanent residency or Australian Citizen.
