Graduate Energy Efficiency Consultant

A Graduate Energy Efficiency Consultant is required for an Energy Efficiency Consulting Company.

The Graduate Energy Efficiency Consultant will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and emissions reduction projects for the industrial and agricultural sector.

 

Responsibilities

  • To assist in the delivery of project opportunities to customers that deliver clear value.
  • Assist in the preparation of high-quality presentations, data analysis, and written reports.
  • Start to develop a professional network and up-to-date industry knowledge.
  • Maintain appropriate industry qualifications and industry association memberships.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining consulting intellectual property (tools, systems, models, processes, and templates).
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the company’s and service offering.
  • Work with Principal or Senior Consultant to manage customer relationships for key customer accounts.
  • Manage and track billable utilisation and training and development activities.

 

Requirements

  • An Engineering degree or other relevant qualifications.
  • A passion for energy efficiency and/or carbon consulting.
  • A willingness to gain formal accreditation in some of the following areas:
    • Energy Management (ISO 50001),
    • Energy Audits (ISO 50002),
    • Performance Measurement and Verification (IPMVP),
    • Building and HVAC System Tuning and Optimisation,
    • NABERS and CBD Assessments,
    • Greenstar Certification,
    • GRESB Reporting,
    • Lighting Audits,
    • Solar and Battery Feasibility Studies,
    • HVAC System Condition Audits,
    • Metering Network Design,
    • Network Tariff Optimisation, and
    • Electricity Procurement.
  • A professional communicator both written and verbal.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Australia for project delivery.
  • Valid Australian driver’s license.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
