An exciting opportunity exists for a recent electrical engineering graduate looking to explore a technical sales oriented start to their career. The company is a vertically integrated provider of energy control solutions experiencing a strong period of growth.
The Graduate Sales Engineer will work with the Sales Manager and Sales Engineer to convert opportunities into sales quotations for electrical protection and control systems for renewable energy and hybrid energy system projects.
There is also the opportunity to grow into a more autonomous sales role.
Responsibilities:
- Take data provided by Sales Manager and/or Sales Engineer to develop sales proposals and quotations.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations.
- Interface with internal colleagues in purchasing and project management on stock levels.
- Learn to understand the various components of a control system and how these interact.
Requirements:
- An Electrical Engineering degree.
- Willingness to learn, be flexible and ability to work independently under pressure and to tight deadlines as required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to be able to build relationships internally and externally.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
