An Assistant Accountant is required for a leading, global solar technology business that is driving a growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring no duplication and that payments are made.
- Receive all delivery notes or shipping documents and reconcile with purchase orders, and record invoices on SAP accurately.
- Register new vendors and seek approval from Team Leader.
- Plan accounts payable list weekly and discuss with Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare credit applications for new suppliers.
- Prepare month end close and enter transactions for a group of entities.
- Prepare and review reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts and resolve open items.
- Manage intercompany transactions, prepare cross-charges, reconciliation, netting and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation & reporting of consolidated group results and statutory financial statements for multiple group entities.
- Assist with the coordination of year-end deliverables with external auditors to provide all necessary information for audit purposes.
Requirements
- A Degree in Accounting or similar discipline.
- Accounting experience gained preferably in a product-based company.
- Experience with SAP highly regarded.
- Advanced computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual in Korean and English highly regarded.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
