A Project and Asset Operations Coordinator is required by a leading power purchase agreement provider for commercial and industrial solar systems. Following a recent investment, the business is expanding and growing its asset portfolio.
This is a dual-role within the projects team, designed to enhance their project delivery capabilities and also to ensure the optimal operation of their solar and auxiliary assets. This role serves as the company’s primary liaison with the operations and maintenance providers. Supporting the project manager, you will also be instrumental in coordinating project efforts from inception to completion and overseeing the maintenance and operational efficiency of installed assets.
Responsibilities:
- Project management of solar and battery projects under 100kW.
- Assist with the delivery of solar and battery projects over 100kW.
- Serve as a key point of contact between the project team, clients, and external contractors.
- Manage project documentation, ensuring all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
- Assist with managing contractor compliance and complete assessments for Heath & Safety, Quality and Environmental controls.
- Coordinate fault diagnosis, maintenance schedules, and emergency repairs to ensure assets operate at full capacity.
- Raise and track work orders and oversee the resolution of issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor asset performance, conducting regular reviews and implementing improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Provide technical support and advice on solar and battery technology, energy efficiency measures, and auxiliary products.
Requirements
- Project, engineering or technical/trade qualifications.
- A high degree of proficiency in communication and presentation skills.
- An enthusiastic, positive attitude.
- Ability to work remotely and independently in a fast paced, deadline driven role.
- High level of planning and organisational skills as well as great attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong internal and external relationships.
- Proven well developed stakeholder management and experience of developing productive relationships.
- Proven experience in project coordination and asset maintenance within the renewable energy sector.
- Good understanding of solar technology, battery storage solutions and energy efficiency practices.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the energy sector.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Permanent resident or Australian Citizen.
