Technical Customer Service Manager

A Technical Customer Service Manager is required for a leading, global solar technology business that is driving a growth strategy as well as recently having established a new innovation centre.

The role is based in the new Innovation Centre in Alexandria, Sydney.

Responsibilities

  • Record keeping of service stock product claim statistics to improve servicing.
  • Ensuring sufficient service stock is available at the repair centre as well as at the 3rd party service provider to avoid delays.
  • Conduct firmware and server operations testing prior release to the public.
  • Proactively monitor systems to ensure stability.
  • Carry out service and repair of faulty products of working operational units for repair centre stock.
  • Handle enquiries if the service team is at full capacity, applying engineering support for complex cases.
  • Communicate and share installer feedback with the innovation centre team to improve service and support.
  • Maintain and organize the preferred partner inbox to avoid cluttering of service tickets.
  • Provide training to the service team to ensure consistent performance levels.
  • Communicate with the global HQ customer support team to ensure timely and high quality support.

Requirements

  • An Engineering or Electrical qualification.
  • Previous experience providing technical service for solar energy storage systems and/or solar inverters, preferably from a manufacturer.
  • Field based service or installation experience is desirable.
  • Some proficiency with relevant system monitoring systems and software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and to take responsibility to deliver results.
  • Native/Fluent English language skills.
  • Permanent resident or Australian Citizen.
